Quick Wrap Pants Skirt

After making these, I would call them a skirtpants wrap.

Very baggy leg-looking skirt like.

I personally didnt want the inconvenience of totally unwrapping.

You can put an elastic in the back of the wrap pieced front and an elastic in the front where it ties, so you can pull down like regular pants when needed.

One Size One Pattern Piece
Fold over your fabric
Lay out one piece pattern
Cut out.....
Sew Crotch
Fold over and hem all sides and bottom
Make a tie from the fabric or use a bolo cord, ribbon, or twill tape....lay on top...fold over and top stitch leaving enough to pull and slide gather waist edge....DONE

Will sew now and add picture
1.
Cut your pattern piece on folded over fabric so you can sew the crotch with right sides together for you pants piece
2.

I double sewed the seam and then used an overcast stitch trimmed
3

Hem sides of pants for a finished edge- Just topstitch is fine
4

Cut a piece of elastic your waist measurement that will be in top of front piece so it can be hook and eyed in the back...I used a pants flat hook and eye
5

Clip and rip or cut wide enough strip to fold in and make a matching tie strip,  the length you full waist and length to tie
6

Turn under both ends and top stitch so when you fold in it will have a finished end

8

Fold over your back piece for pants over your created tie cord and top stitch
Put on to find the length to make the bottom hem

I loved the drape of this fabric, but missed the pockets.
There are no side seams so the only pockets you could do
would be pockets topstitched on.
