Wear to work!
I don't have a closet so I have wreath hangers and sets of clothes, (total outfits on one hanger) many sets on one wreath Hanger. Everything is out in the open in my small space. Bed becomes table with one of those cardboard foldout cutting boards. (So helpful)
Think about tomorrow work. Make same style shirt for work out of silk. Always earrings, sometimes mask. Sometimes scarf. This one I have a tight blouse made out of, but enough leftover to do a baggy one. Love GStreetfabrics... silk bin, when it is there.
This one is silk. I did put darts in the front rectangle. The front scoop is just a tad lower than the back neck scoop. If there are no darts that is the only way you can tell front from back. In this case I put the front square on my body and pin marked the point of dart. When folding the dart to the side of the rectangle, I just clip the fabric. Because there is a dart folded in the front rectangle, the front square becomes a tad shorter than the back. I then just trim the back so they are even. The sleeves rectangle that was made from leftover was roomy but not roomy enough for my swollen underarms. I took two small rectangles that just happened to be leftovers and inserted them on the sleeve to give room, so it would not touch my now sensitive skin. WORKED! YEH!... So that will be tomorrow, most likely. This matches perfectly with previous rectangle jacket.
Sewing machine and thread holders on a card table at the end of my bed. Fabric in Bins is my wall. Currently donating past outfits, and fabric to wherever possible. KittysCustomoutfits Scarves with matching earrings, can be found at Goodwill, in Rockville. Many many things are leaving my space because of my current needs of styles.
Think about Monday work. Make same style top, smaller drape top out of lightweight cotton knit. Make Gray Baggy Leg, side pocket Elastic waist Pants. From GStreetfabrics Treasure Hunt room... 2.97 yard.
Think about Tuesday... have pants made from Treasure Hunt room.... so soft.... Took to the beach and when it rained, sewed up a pair of soft leggings. Have matching Cotton Batik from the Quilting Wall. Beautiful Blue.... Make another Baggie shirt... Add some Embroidery around the edges of Sleeve and down the front Neck...to give some accent to this baggy rectangular shirt... Can't touch my skin, and this no pattern style fits the bill.
COULD I HAVE FOUND CLOTHES TO FIT THE BILL AT THE PUBLIC RETAIL STORES...? PROBABLY NOT !! AND I WOULD HAVE SPENT HOURS, MAYBE $$$, LOTS OF GAS AND TIME AND GONE HOME STILL WITH THE PROBLEM AND DEPRESSED BY NOT FINDING WHAT I NEEDED TO EXIST.... LOVE SEWING ✌😎😄👄THANK YOU LORD!!!
